HUBZone Status pays off!

Mountain Consulting, Inc. is pleased to announce the award of its first DOD contract with the Dover Air Force Base, in Dover, Delaware. The contract was a HUBZone Set Aside for Repair of HVAC Duct Work in Building 600 CES. After achieving HUBZone Status in January 2014, Mountain Consulting, Inc. has been soliciting Dover Air Force Base for contracts. It has been about planning and following the steps in achieving federal contracts.

This is hopefully the first step towards continued success with the DOD and other federal agencies.

Project update:
Mountain Consulting, Inc. is working on a historical home South State Street Dover Delaware. We are posting  progress photos for those who haven't had a chance to ride by the site. Some trees have been removed making way for a new parking lot, sidewalk, and walkway. The removal of the trees has opened up the property for everyone to see the great beauty of this historic home. Tidemark Construction is working on the restoration of this great historic property.

New doors of opportunities canl be opened with these certifications on the commercial and federal level. We plan to explore the Supplier Diversity Programs of companies such as Comcast, Verizon, Procter & Gamble to see where our services can be utilized within their corporation. On the federal level, the SBA has the 8(m) program for woman owned businesses to get a market share in all federal contracts, in which we are now eligible to participate in. US Small Business Administration Press Conference

The Press Conference sponsored by the US Small Business Administration (SBA) went well this morning. The meeting was conducted by John Fleming, Director of the Delaware District Office of the US SBA. His staff accompanied him in this history making acknowledgment; Ms. Gedell Hawkins and Jim Provo. Delaware's PTAC Director, Juanita Beauford and Julie Wheatley, Director of Sussex County Economic office were also in attendance . James L. Collins, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Jack A. Markell was in attendance as well.

Coming Soon! Solid Rock Baptist Church Community Outreach Center in Dover, Delaware!

Take a look at the progress photos of our Solid Rock Baptist Church Community Center Project. We are working alongside Regional Builders of Seaford Delaware to make this project a success for our client and the community.
Our client is helping the community by building this community center for use of the local youth for activities, tutoring, and workshops. The two homes will be demolished and the new community center will be built where they once stood.
Construction is slated for early spring and estimated completion late summer. Stay tuned!
